Suffering=Gain!?

Suffering equals gain, to my flesh sounds like an oxymoron. To believe that all the hurt and suffering I, well most, have endured will guide us to much gain. However, Paul’s letter to the people of Philippi is a true example of losing it all for the Glory of Christ Jesus. To be imprisoned yet to have so much hope and love for people is remarkable. I am grateful to know that the good work the Lord has begun, even with all of the trials and tribulations in between, will be completed. There is a GOOD (victorious, righteous, blameless, praiseworthy, admirable) work in me and all of you that the Lord is willing and able to bring to completion, now that’s AMAZING. Whether you know what your work is now or whether it is still being revealed to you, the manifestation is coming! Your days may be rough and your nights may be long but do not be discouraged, for in our weakness the strength of the Lord is perfected within us. I am so grateful for the Young Adult Ministry, as Paul has encouraged us, let’s go forth in love for one another and putting the needs of our members above our own!
