Humility

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is doing ok, maintaining sanity in all the uncertainty in the world around us right now, and most of all staying healthy and safe!

God gave me a few things on humility this morning so I wanted to share....

GOD gives us wisdom and the ability to gain knowledge and those things are needed to navigate through life. Where things go wrong sometimes is believing that those things GOD has given us makes us better or more equipped than other people

Yes there will be times when we will know more than the next person but every situation is not an opportunity to prove what we know, sometimes HUMILITY needs to prevail for GOD to do His work in the situation.

Colossians 3:12-15 reads “Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.”

It’s is vital that we put on those qualities of Christ as we are examples to younger generations as well as we have the unique position to be right between those younger people looking up to us and the older generation who need us to step up and carry on their work. In order for us to be effective in the work GOD has put before us we have to earn the respect of those around us. Remaining humble, showing kindness, being patient, and living in harmony are all avenues of showing those around us we are worthy of their respect so they can be open to all the great things we have to offer!

Game changers, we have the potential to and will do some great things in this world! It’s important we know we can’t go it alone and there is help! GOD has and will place some awesome people along the way to help to ensure His work is done, we just have to remain humble, live in peace, and do the work He’s put before us and sit back and watch HIM work!

As we continue to mesh as a group, lets get to know someone new and figure out all the Greatness GOD has blessed us with within the group, and I’m certain He’ll show us how all the wisdom and knowledge of this great group of individuals can change the game!
